Budameru is so dangerous..!? Look at its History..!?

The entire area of these areas was identified as Budameru Colony Plotting Area a few years ago. Budameru starts from mylavaram and Velagaleru village in AP. There is a dam at Velagaleru village. A dam built in 1977 served to stop the Budameru from overflowing. It can hold water only to a very limited extent. If the limit is exceeded, water must come from above it. Moreover, Puli Vagu, Bhima Vagu, Loya Vagu i.e. small streams also meet in this vagu. Even if there is a dam, it could not contain the big flood, so this time the danger of flood has become more serious. There was a similar flood once in 2005 but then the flood level was a little less. But at that time YS Rajasekhar reddy proposed to divert the river through a channel near Ibrahimpatnam. It was planned that the water would flow into the krishna river through that channel. It was completed according to the plan. Its name is Budameru Diversion Channel. However, the water passing through this channel joins the krishna river only if the water level is less than 12 feet. Or they will come back again and again. But this time the water level of krishna river has increased by more than 12 feet. Because of that, the channel became useless. Many small canals were also constructed to divert the Budameru but they were encroached upon by some. Due to this, the water cannot be diverted.
