The bjp is facing huge discontent over ticket distribution and leaders and workers are protesting in many districts of Jammu region. Tawi movement convener chandra mohan Sharma said, "On the demand of the people of my constituency, I have decided to contest as an independent candidate from Jammu east assembly constituency. bjp has not done justice to its senior leaders and workers." He visited various areas of the constituency to know the sentiments of the people about his candidature and said that most of the people have openly supported him.
chandra mohan Sharma said, "There is widespread discontent among the people over various issues. They feel neglected. people want me to contest elections here and they have vowed to ensure my victory." Expressing disappointment over the alleged sidelining of senior leaders by the bjp in ticket distribution, chandra mohan Sharma said that I have resigned from the party.
