Military theater Command: New Chapter of indian Army!!!
At present, the indian army works under different operational commands. In the proposed theatre command, units of all three forces (Army, Navy and air Force) will be placed under one commander.
Differences have been seen in the indian army from time to time due to various reasons. Now India is making the biggest change in its army which is called Military Theater Command. Its purpose is to create an integrated strategy for any future war. Recently, the military chiefs of india held a two-day Joint Commanders Conference (JCC) in Lucknow. The purpose of this conference is to review the plan of the proposed Military theater Command.
The purpose of the Military theater Command is to enable the army, Navy and air Force to work together. After getting the approval of the government, it may take 12 to 18 months to implement this plan. These theater commands have been prepared under the leadership of Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan and indicate a major change in India's defense strategy. This will enable the three armies of india to work together.
Chief of Defense Staff General Chauhan said in the JCC that this is a step-by-step process. First the three armies have to learn how to work together. Then a culture of working together will have to be created and finally the three forces will have to be prepared to fight the war together.
