BJP Announces Second List of 21 Candidates for haryana Assembly Elections

The bharatiya janata party (BJP) has released its second list of 21 candidates for the haryana assembly elections scheduled for october 5. This list includes a blend of established figures and newcomers, targeting key constituencies across the state.

Prominent names on this list include krishna Gahlawat, who will contest from Rai, and Bimla Chaudhary, who is set to run from Pataudi. manish Grovar will represent the party in Rohtak, while sanjay singh and Aizaz Khan are set to contest in Nuh and Punahana, respectively. Pawan saini, a close aide of chief minister Nayab Singh saini, is positioned for the Naraingarh seat, Satpal Jamba for Pundri, and Devendra kaushik for Ganaur.

A significant addition to the list is Captain yogesh Bairagi, who has been nominated for the Julana seat. Bairagi is expected to face congress candidate and former wrestler Vinesh Phogat in a highly anticipated matchup.

Bairagi, a political novice, serves as the State Vice President of the BJP's youth wing and Co-Convenor of the haryana Sports Cell. His previous career includes being a pilot, and he originates from Safidon in the Jind district of Haryana.

In a previous announcement, the bjp released its first list of 67 candidates for the 90-member Assembly, which included haryana chief minister Nayab Singh saini for the Ladwa seat, along with several new faces in the party. This decision has led to dissatisfaction within the party, with at least 12 bjp leaders, including cabinet minister Ranjit Singh Chautala, one sitting MLA, and six former MLAs, resigning in protest over the candidate selections.
