Jharkhand govt wrote a letter to the election Commission…

The jharkhand government has requested the election commission to order Union home minister amit shah to issue an advisory to bjp leaders Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. In a letter to the Chief election Commissioner (CEC), amit shah has been urged to issue an advisory to both the bjp leaders to refrain from "inciting" communal tension in the state for "narrow political gain" by misusing the official machinery and not to directly interfere in the internal affairs of jharkhand in gross violation of constitutional norms.

In response, the bjp claimed that the ruling JMM-led coalition is scared of its imminent defeat in the upcoming assembly elections. Wonder why the state government has not taken any action against cm Himanta Biswa Sarma and former mp cm Shivraj Singh Chouhan?

This allegation between the ruling party JMM and bjp in jharkhand has come at a time when elections for the 81-member jharkhand assembly are to be held later this year.

bjp leaders are misusing government machinery

Vandana Dadel, Principal Secretary of the cabinet Secretariat and Vigilance Department of jharkhand, in a recent letter to the election commission (EC), has accused the bjp of trying to "intimidate administrative and police officials" so that they cannot take just and legal preventive and punitive action.

Principal Secretary Vandana Dadel has also mentioned in her letter that the bjp is trying to "create communal unrest and tension in the area by affecting religious sentiments". The letter also urged the election commission to "ensure fairness, provide equal opportunity to both sides and conduct a detailed investigation before taking any action against government officials and police officers posted in jharkhand in connection with the upcoming assembly elections".
