CM arvind kejriwal has been granted bail by supreme court Justice Suryakant and Justice Bhuinya in the alleged liquor scam case. However, both the judges have different opinions on the cbi arrest. The court said that "since the chargesheet has been filed and the trial is not going to be completed in the near future, there is no reason to keep him in jail for a long time." kejriwal has got bail on a bond of Rs 10 lakh.
Bail has been granted in ED case
Let us tell you that kejriwal had filed two petitions in the supreme Court. In one of these, the bail petition and the other challenged the arrest and remand made by the CBI. The supreme court granted bail, but did not declare the cbi arrest illegal. The cbi arrested the aam aadmi party chief on june 26, when he was in ED custody. After this, he got interim bail from the supreme court in the ED case, but due to his arrest in the cbi case, he could not get out of jail. Let us tell you that earlier the delhi High court had justified the cbi arrest.
