The NIA team has been conducting raids in different parts of punjab since friday morning. This search operation has been going on since morning. Amritpal Singh is already lodged in jail under NSA.

At the same time, charandeep Singh Bhinder, a member of mp Amritpal Singh's team, said that the NIA has raided several places this morning. It is just that our team is being harassed illegally. charandeep Singh Bhinder also said that "The government of india is afraid of the conference organized by Sikh organizations on august 19 for the release of mp Amritpal Singh, due to which such action is being taken." What is the whole matter? According to information received from sources, this raid has been done in connection with the demonstration of Khalistan supporters outside the indian Embassy on 23 march 2023 in Ottawa, Canada. The NIA had registered a case in this regard in june last year. According to the NIA FIR, during this time Khalistan supporters raised anti-India slogans and put up a Khalistani flag on the wall of the High Commission and threw two grenades inside the High Commission building.
