Bengal govt should accept demands of the doctors!!!

Political drama has started in West bengal regarding the rape and murder case in Kolkata's RG Kar Medical college and Hospital. After the invitation for talks was rejected thrice, the protesting junior doctors have reached the residence of the state chief minister Mamata Banerjee to meet her.

'Government should accept the demands of doctors'

Meanwhile, the victim's mother said, "We want the chief minister to accept the 5-point demands of the doctors and find a solution. In this case, the police-administration, health department are all guilty. The junior doctors are very suffering, we want a solution as soon as possible by talking to them and accepting their demands."

Earlier, on saturday (September 14, 2024), chief minister Mamata Banerjee reached among the doctors sitting on protest regarding the kolkata case. During this, she also played an emotional bet to get the doctors to return to work. While talking to the doctors, cm Mamata Banerjee said, "I understand your (doctors) pain, that's why I am with you. I am not worried about the cm post. I have also agitated a lot in my student life. We are worried about your safety."

Delegation of doctors reached cm residence

To resolve the deadlock created after the incident in RG Kar Hospital, a delegation of 30 agitating doctors reached cm Mamata Banerjee's residence. However, the government had invited 15 representatives for the meeting. According to the report of news agency PTI, before leaving the protest site outside the headquarters of the state government's health department, the agitating doctors said that they had placed five demands before the government, they would not agree to anything less than that. Earlier, while responding to the e-mail of the state Chief Secretary Manoj Pant, the agitating doctors said that they would attend the meeting and place their demands before the Chief Minister.
