What did the doctors say in the email?
West bengal Junior doctor Front Delegation Met cm Mamata: The doctors had written in an email to the cm that they have been agitating for the last 35 days and have come out on the streets for their five demands. The West bengal Junior Doctors Front has laid down four conditions for talks with the government. Their top demand was that the number of representatives in the movement should be increased to 30 instead of 26, although it is not clear how many people are in the delegation. Apart from this, there is a condition that doctors will not be pressured to return to work after attending the meeting.
The third demand is that the meeting will be telecast live (there is no clarity on this either) and the last demand is that the talks with the government will focus only on the five demands that have been mentioned earlier.
What did the victim's mother say about the CM?
The mother of the RG Kar Hospital victim said about cm Mamata Banerjee, "Instead of just saying that whoever is found guilty will be punished, she should have been more clear. Considering the destruction of evidence at the scene and the arrest of only one person, we were expecting the cm to show more clarity in this matter." The victim's mother, however, has expressed hope that the talks between the chief minister and the agitating doctors will yield results.
