Sugarcane cultivation is difficult in telangana & AP..!?

* Difficulties for sugarcane farmers in telugu states.

* Additional burden on farmers due to the locking of factories.

* Severe losses to farmers due to problems.

Once in the states of telangana and andhra pradesh sugarcane was grown in the largest area after paddy but now that is not the case because all the sugar factories in the two telugu states are closing down. For example, in the nizamabad district of telangana state, bodhan Nizam Sugars, the largest sugar factory in Asia, was located. But it was closed. BRS leaders also closed three sugar factories under Nizam Sugars in Mutyampet and Lakshmipur of Jagityala district. As a result of this, farmers have to go to private sugar factories in distant areas to sell sugarcane. It can be said that this is a very time-consuming task. Due to this, the sugarcane tubers are dry and they weigh less at the time of weighing. Transport costs are also giving shocks to farmers. Due to these problems, farmers have been demanding the opening of closed factories since time immemorial.
When the congress came to power after the demise of the BRS government, hopes rose among the sugarcane farmers. congress Party minister Sridhar Babu promised to reopen the Nizam sugar Factory. Locks were also placed on Jampani, Hanuman Junction sugar Factory, Bhimadolu, Tandava, Atikoppoka, Tummapala, and Gowada sugar factories in the vemuru of guntur district. Without reopening these, the area under sugarcane cultivation will further decrease. As soon as the ycp came to power in 2019, Thummapala Sugars was closed. As a result, the number of sugarcane farmers within the three factories has reduced drastically. The closure of these factories does not bring back the investment either the support price or the sugarcane crops in the telugu states are suffering huge losses.
Sugar factories are also delaying payment of sugarcane arrears due to which the farmers are afraid to cultivate these crops and are switching to other crops.
