Why did Yashwant Sinha, who is going to give tension to BJP?

Former bjp stalwart Yashwant Sinha on monday (September 16) announced to form a new political party named 'Atal Vichar Manch'. Yashwant Sinha has started his new party in the old bjp office of Hazaribagh. Where the bjp office used to run till jayant sinha was an MP. After forming the new party, Yashwant Sinha announced that he will field his candidates on all 81 seats in the upcoming jharkhand assembly elections. During this, he targeted the bjp and said that the party is now moving away from the principles of Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Well, meanwhile the important question is why Yashwant Sinha chose the path of rebellion?

Resentment with the Modi government kept increasing

Before the 2014 lok sabha elections, the bjp approved the name of narendra modi for the post of Prime Minister. It is believed that the party decided not to give tickets to many senior leaders since 2014. Despite Yashwant Sinha winning from Hazaribagh in 2009, the party made his son jayant sinha the candidate. His son jayant sinha was the bjp mp from Hazaribagh in 2014 and 2019.

However, during this time his relationship with the Modi government kept deteriorating. When Yashwant Sinha left the bjp in 2018, he had described the party's situation as a big threat to democracy in India. However, the bjp did not express any special surprise over this resignation. The bjp said that he (Sinha) had been behaving like an opposition leader for some years.

Son Jayant's ticket also cut in 2024

In the lok sabha elections 2024, the bjp cut the ticket of jayant sinha, who was an mp from Hazaribagh, and made manish Jaiswal the candidate. Even before the BJP's list was released, jayant sinha had also announced his retirement from politics. There was a lot of discussion in the political circles that Jayant's ticket was cut because Yashwant Sinha had challenged BJP's declared candidate draupadi murmu in the 2022 presidential election. In the 2024 elections, Yashwant Sinha openly campaigned in support of the india Alliance candidate to defeat the BJP. During the elections, Jayant Sinha's son Ashir Sinha was also seen in a rally of india Alliance. However, congress said that Ashir attended the rally as Yashwant Sinha's representative.
