bjp has suffered a setback before the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Former bjp mla Bapusaheb Tukaram Pathare joined Sharad Pawar's party ncp (SP) on tuesday (September 17). He joined the ncp (SP) in the presence of party chief Sharad Pawar. The game of leaders changing parties has gradually intensified before the assembly elections in Maharashtra. Many big leaders of the Mahayuti alliance have left it and joined the constituent parties of the opposition Mahavikas Aghadi (MVA) for the assembly elections to be held in the state later this year, in this episode Bapusaheb Tukaram also decided to go with Sharad Pawar.
Samrajit Ghatge also joined Sharad faction this month
On september 3 this month, Samarjit Singh Ghatge, a descendant of the Kolhapur royal family, joined the Sharad Pawar-led NCP. According to an IANS report, ncp (SP) working president supriya sule had described Ghatge as a diamond and said that we know its value. Ghatge, a former close aide of deputy chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, is likely to get a ticket from Kagal assembly seat in the upcoming assembly elections. Currently this seat is represented by Sharad Pawar's former loyalist Hasan Mushrif. Hasan joined the ajit pawar faction in July 2023.
Bhagyashree Atram, daughter of Dharmarao baba Atram, a minister in the maharashtra government and ncp leader of ajit pawar faction, also joined the sharad pawar faction recently. It is believed that ajit pawar tried a lot to stop her but she did not change her decision and joined the ncp (SP). She took membership of the party in the presence of party state president Jayant Patil.
