Engineer Rashid is being called BJP's B team…
The opposition and especially Farooq Abdullah-Mehbooba Mufti are repeatedly saying that bjp is supporting their rebels and bjp wants the next chief minister to be from Jammu and a Hindu. This claim of the opposition is strengthened by the statement of bjp candidate from Anantnag, Rafiq Wani, in which he called the strong independent leaders of the valley like engineer Rashid, Sajjad Lone, Altaf Bukhari and ghulam nabi azad as his own.
Therefore, both farooq abdullah and mehbooba are upset with engineer Rashid's bail, because they know that whatever votes engineer Rashid will get will either be of National Conference-Congress or PDP. So both these leaders are calling engineer Rashid BJP's B team.
bjp left 28 seats vacant
Will the future path not become difficult for bjp because of leaving 28 seats? Because this was the time when bjp could have become strong in the valley by counting its work. Even the old workers of bjp wanted that whether it wins or loses, the party should field candidates, only then will the support base increase in the valley. Listening to these workers, before the announcement of the election, bjp and especially home minister amit shah himself had said that bjp will contest on all 90 seats. Then what happened to bjp with the announcement of the election that it left 28 seats vacant and did not even bother to field candidates on them. The answer to this can be found in the election results of 2014 and the government formed after that.
