Arvind kejriwal will soon vacate 6 Flag Road residence?

Senior aam aadmi party leader Atishi officially took over as the new chief minister of delhi on Saturday. Now she will soon shift to the Chief Minister's residence in Civil Lines. For this, former chief minister arvind kejriwal will have to vacate his government residence.

In view of this, the aam aadmi party has demanded government accommodation for party convenor and former cm arvind kejriwal from the central government. However, it is not yet decided when he will vacate the cm residence and where he will shift. AAP rajya sabha mp Raghav Chadha, citing the rules of the election Commission, had demanded the Center to provide accommodation for former cm kejriwal two days ago.

Former cm entitled to government accommodation

AAP mp Raghav Chadha said that as per the rules of the commission, any national party is given a national office and the national convenor of a national level party is given a government accommodation. We demand from the central government that kejriwal be given a government accommodation.

Raghav Chadha said that arvind kejriwal used to live in Kaushambi, ghaziabad before becoming the CM. After becoming the cm in 2013, he lived in a house in Tilak Lane. After winning the assembly elections in february 2015, he lived in a residence at 6 Flag Staff Road in Civil Lines area. There has been no official confirmation from the central government yet as to where and which house will be allotted to kejriwal to live after vacating the cm residence. If sources are to be believed, now kejriwal can shift to 10 Ferozeshah Road.

Resigned on 17 September

arvind kejriwal was released from tihar jail on 13 september after getting bail from the supreme court in the delhi Excise Policy case. He had announced on 15 september that after two days I will resign from my post. On 17 september, he resigned from the post of cm of Delhi.
