Israeli PM Netanyahu's warning to Hezbollah...?

The atmosphere of war in the Middle east has caused concern in countries around the world. Recently, after 3000 pagers and dozens of walkie-talkies blasted simultaneously in lebanon, the Hezbollah chief claimed a rocket attack on Israel. Meanwhile, Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a warning to Hezbollah on sunday (22 september 2024).

'If you still don't understand, we know how to explain'

Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Tel Aviv (a city in Israel) has attacked the armed group Hezbollah in lebanon in recent times in a way it could not even imagine. According to a Reuters report, Netanyahu said, "If Hezbollah does not understand this message, I promise you that it will understand this message."

Amid the ongoing tension in the Middle east, the Israeli army said it attacked about 290 targets on saturday (September 21, 2024), including thousands of Hezbollah rocket launcher barrels. The IDF said it would continue to strike at the bases of Iran-backed movement activists.

Many killed, including a senior Hezbollah officer

Earlier on september 20, israel claimed that senior Hezbollah official Ibrahim Aqeel was killed in an airstrike on Beirut. Hezbollah said 16 members, including its senior leader Ibrahim Aqeel and another commander Ahmed Wahbi, were killed in the war with israel for nearly a year. Attacks increased in lebanon earlier this week. Pagers and walkie-talkies used by Hezbollah members exploded, for which Hezbollah blamed Israel. The death toll in these attacks is believed to have risen to 39 and more than 3,000 people have been injured.
