This time also bjp has fielded Muslim candidates in Ferozepur Jhirka and Punhana. On this, he said, "These leaders have been MLAs from other parties before being fielded by BJP."

'People have understood BJP's divisive politics'

The congress leader further said, "Before the 2019 elections, people did not realize the hatred spread by BJP. Now the situation has changed a lot. In the recent lok sabha elections, the vote share of bjp mp (Union minister of State) Rao Inderjit Singh has declined. Not only minorities, people of all sections have understood the divisive politics that bjp uses for its political benefit. He further said, "BJP's ten years of misrule and the way they have treated haryana, especially Mewat, will see people moving away from the party. After the Nuh riots, many things have disrupted the lives of the people."

Giving his opinion on the communal violence that took place in Nuh during the VHP procession in July 2023, he said, "We had warned the administration about possible clashes at least a week before the incident as there were inflammatory social media posts regarding the procession. This was a failure of the bjp and its administration. Despite warnings that the situation was tense, the SP and DCP were on leave. He said that after the riots, disproportionate action was taken against the local residents by demolishing houses, arresting innocent people.
