Before UP by-election, SP's claim created a stir…?
By-elections are to be held in the coming time on ten assembly seats of Uttar Pradesh, before the elections, the round of allegations and counter-allegations has also started. The main opposition party of Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi party, has made a very serious allegation before the by-election. Along with this, they have asked the election commission to take immediate cognizance of this and demanded fair elections from the election Commission.
Samajwadi party has posted on X and accused of influencing the elections by removing Muslim and previous BLOs in Katehari assembly constituency of Ambedkar Nagar. It is alleged that Muslim and OBC BLOs have been removed and non-Muslim and non-OBC BLOs have been appointed in their place. The party has demanded action against the responsible officers and employees by getting a complaint and investigation done against the appointment.
SP demanded action from election Commission
SP said that, in this assembly, more than ten Muslim and OBC BLOs were replaced. SP said that changing BLOs on the basis of religion and caste before the by-election is unconstitutional, undemocratic and a question mark on fair elections. SP has demanded action from the election commission in this matter. By-elections are to be held in Karhal, Milkipur, Sisamau, Kundarki, Ghaziabad, Phulpur, Majhawan, Katehari, Khair and Meerapur.
The dates for the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh are yet to be announced but the stir for the UP elections has intensified. Chandrashekhar Azad's azad Samaj party has also announced candidates for four assembly seats in UP. Bahujan Samaj party has already announced the candidates for the by-elections.
