Reportedly Uttar Pradesh chief minister yogi Adityanath on monday said that the ayodhya ram temple was demolished by the invaders 500 years ago because the Hindu community people were divided. While addressing a gathering at an event in Mirzapur, the chief minister questioned that why ayodhya had to wait for five centuries for ram Janmabhoomi Temple? He said that invaders demolished the temple and erected a structure of slavery. He also called on the Hindu community people to stay united in future.

He said “Remember, ayodhya Dham is also shining. The wait of over 500 years has come to an end… Why did we have to wait for 500 years in Ayodhya? Why did such a situation arise? Invaders demolished the grand temple of Lord ram and erected a structure of slavery. There is only one solution, and the reason is the same: we were divided, and as a result, we suffered”.

Moreover Samajwadi party (SP) leader Anurag Bhadouria, responding to the statements, said that such remarks depict that the chief minister do not have faith in judiciary. Bhadouria further said that yogi is aware that he can’t ask for votes in the name of development, hence he is giving such statements. He further took a dig at the previous Akhilesh Yadav-led Samajwadi party government claiming that there was discrimination in who would get the benefits of certain schemes. He said that such a thing has changed under the current government and all schemes have benefitted the poor, farmers, and women the most.
