Haryana: Nuh mla made more promises!!!
The campaign for haryana assembly elections has intensified. Nuh mla Aftab ahmed has made many promises before the elections. The promises mainly include bringing a law against mob lynching in the name of cow protection and conducting a judicial inquiry into the communal violence that took place in the district last year. Deputy leader of Opposition ahmed said that warnings were given before the communal violence in Nuh. He had already informed the administration. There was loss of life and property in the communal violence.
Ahmed, Deputy leader of Opposition in the outgoing haryana assembly, said, "The reason for the communal violence last year was the promotion of anti-social elements in the guise of 'cow protectors'. An atmosphere of fear was created because of the cow protectors. As an mla, I had informed the administration. He said, "The chief minister was holding a meeting in Rewari. Despite challenges from anti-social elements on both sides, only 300 policemen were deployed. Till date we are demanding that a judicial inquiry be conducted to find out the officials responsible, the reasons for the violence and the way to deal with the violence."
Nuh mla made these promises to the public
Six people, including two home guards and a cleric, were killed in the Nuh violence over an attempt to stop the vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) procession. police charged Mamman Khan, congress mla from Ferozepur Jhirka, under UAPA. Aftab ahmed said, "We are lucky that people have understood their game. A day after the incident, no such incident happened again and people realized that we have to live in harmony... We will bring a law against lynching in the name of cow protection."
ahmed is pitted against BJP's sanjay singh on the Nuh assembly seat. The indian National Lok Dal (INLD) has fielded Tahir Hussain. Tahir Hussain is a three-time mla from this constituency and is the son of haryana Waqf Board chairman Zakir Hussain. Recently He has joined INLD. bjp has never won in Nuh. Voters have been supporting congress and INLD for a long time.
