Israel is raining death on Iran-backed organization Hezbollah these days. Top Hezbollah commanders have been killed in continuous air strikes. In another air strike on sunday (September 29), israel killed another commander Nabil Kauk. The Israeli army announced on X that it had killed senior leader Nabil Kauk, who was a prominent figure in the Iran-backed terrorist group and a potential successor to Hassan Nasrallah.

At the same time, according to a report by news agency Reuters, the Israeli army said on sunday that it had killed Hezbollah commander Nabil Kauk. The report said that Hezbollah has not confirmed Kauk's death, but his supporters have been posting condolence messages since Saturday. This attack on Nabil comes a day after the killing of Iran-backed Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah in a major airstrike by the Israeli army on Friday. Nabil Kauk was the deputy head of Hezbollah's central council.

A post issued by the Israeli army said that Kauk, the commander of Hezbollah's preventive security unit and a member of its central council, was targeted and killed by Israeli fighter jets under the precise instructions of military intelligence.
The Israeli army has said that it has killed eight of Hezbollah's nine most senior military commanders, including Nasrallah, this year, most of whom have been killed in the last week. If a report by news agency Reuters is to be believed, these commanders led units ranging from the rocket division to the elite Radwan force.
Mourning is being observed in Lebanon
Lebanon on sunday announced a five-day mourning in the country, a day after Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah was killed in Israeli air strikes. All shops, businesses and government offices will remain closed until Wednesday. Hashem Safieddin will replace Hassan Nasrallah as the head of the Iran-backed group Hezbollah. Safieddin is Nasrallah's cousin.
