Collection of Rs 10.72 lakh crore in the first half
In the first month of the financial year 2024-25, April, GST collection of Rs 2.10 lakh crore was seen, which is an all-time high. But since then there has been a decline in the collection. The collection was Rs 1.73 lakh crore in May 2024, Rs 1.6 lakh crore in June, Rs 1.82 lakh crore in July 2024, Rs 1.74 lakh crore in August. The total GST collection in the first half of the current financial year has been Rs 10.72 lakh crore.
31 percent jump in refund
According to the GST collection data, the total CGST collection in the month of september was Rs 31,422 crore, SGST collection Rs 39,283 crore, IGST recovery Rs 46,087 crore and Rs 11,059 crore from cess. That is, the gross domestic revenue has been Rs 1,27,850 crore, which was Rs 1,20,686 crore in the same period last year. The gross import revenue has been Rs 45,390 crore. A total refund of Rs 20,458 crore has been issued in the month of september, while a refund of Rs 15,614 crore was issued in the year 2018.
33% decline in Manipur's GST revenue
