Transport minister Suriya Jungrungruangkit said that there were 44 passengers in the bus. All were going on a school trip. Then the bus caught fire in Pathum Thani province, a northern suburb of the capital. 25 people died in the accident. Initial investigation has revealed that the tyre of the bus had burst. After this the bus caught fire.

The fire was so fierce that it engulfed the entire bus in a short time. Due to this many children remained trapped in the bus and were burnt alive. However, some burnt children managed to get out, but they could not find an ambulance. Due to this they kept wandering here and there. The video of this incident is also going viral on social media.

The government will compensate the victim families

Thailand's prime minister Patongtarn Shinawatra expressed condolences on the accident on the social media platform X. He said that the government will bear the cost of treatment and will compensate the victim families.

Many videos of the accident have also surfaced on social media. In these, it can be seen that the entire bus is in flames and only smoke is visible everywhere. The age of the children and other information has not been revealed yet. It is being told that the bus is still so hot that the bodies of the children could not be removed from it.
