On wednesday afternoon, an auto and a car collided fiercely in Samastipur. Three people including a mother and a daughter died in this road accident. At the same time, four people were injured. The injured people have been admitted to the sub-divisional hospital Dalsinghsarai for treatment, where after first aid, the doctors referred them to Sadar Hospital Samastipur for better treatment.

The deceased have been identified as Geeta Devi (45 years), wife of Manoj Prasad, resident of Madhepur ward number ten of Dalsinghsarai police station, his daughter Kanchan Kumari (22 years), and Akhilesh Kumar, son of Chandshekhar Paswan, resident of Samarth Kalyanpur of Vibhutipur police station area. The injured include surya Mohan Narayan Jha (45 years), son of Satish Chandra Jha, resident of Laheriyasarai, Darbhanga, Surendra Paswan (40 years), son of Kapil Paswan, resident of Samartha, Vibhutipur police station area, Rajan Kumar (24 years), son of Suddin Rai, resident of Basdhiya, Dalsinghsarai police station area, Rajkumar Paswan (25 years), son of Tuntun Paswan, resident of Mustafapur, Vibhutipur police station area.

The incident took place near Janakpur Brahma Sthan in Ujiarpur police station area. After the incident, there was chaos at the spot. At the same time, the Dial 112 team, which reached after receiving the information, started relief and rescue work. It is being told about the incident that the car going from Begusarai to Samastipur lost control while overtaking and hit the auto from the front.

The collision was so severe that two people in the auto died on the spot. At the same time, a woman died in the hospital during treatment. SI Laxmikant Jha, the police officer present at the scene, was busy investigating. Meanwhile, angry people blocked NH 28 with bamboo sticks demanding compensation. Due to the jam, long queues of small and big vehicles were formed on both sides.
