According to sources Uttar Pradesh chief minister yogi adityanath on wednesday announced that all beneficiaries of the PM Ujjwala Yojana will receive free LPG cylinders this Diwali, adding that he has instructed officials to ensure timely delivery before the festival. Meanwhile the chief minister also emphasized the need for public vigilance during celebrations like Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath to ensure law and order is maintained. Adityanath stated that special attention must be given to the safety of women during Navratri. He stressed on the need for heightened vigilance and security in sensitive areas, especially considering past incidents.
Furthermore he said ‘liquor shops should be closed within the time limit and there should be no illegal slaughterhouses or open sale of meat’. Moreover he said multiple initiatives aimed at enhancing women’s safety in UP are being undertaken and that the work will be completed by setting targets. Apart from the police, other departments will also play a role in this mission.
Moreover the cm said nodal officers from the police will be assigned to districts for effective coordination. women across Uttar Pradesh, from villages to cities, will benefit from empowerment schemes, and awareness programs will be conducted to connect all women with self-employment opportunities. The yogi adityanath government is tipped to start many schemes under Mission shakti during Navratri.
