Number of seats of congress increased in lok sabha elections - Tanwar
Till an hour before taking this step, ashok Tanwar was appealing to vote for bjp candidates in Haryana. Explaining the reason for leaving bjp and returning to congress, he said, "Rahul gandhi took care that Dalits and backward people should be included in the progress of the country. Bharat Jodo yatra worked to give direction. people got faith and the tally (seats) in lok sabha was doubled."
Along with this, he made a big allegation on bjp and said, "BJP divides people by taking the help of caste and religion. My political beginning was under the flag of Congress. I was with bjp for a few months. The kind of faith that should be there in the Constitution and baba Saheb, is not there."
'Rights of Dalit leaders are snatched away in BJP'
In response to a question, Tanwar said, "There (in BJP) there is disrespect for the Constitution and Dalit leaders. Rights are snatched away. If the one who is lost in the morning returns in the evening, he is not called forgotten."
Further he said, "I will talk about Haryana. Taking the help of caste, where religion does not work, caste is made to work, this is the policy of BJP. I stand with rahul gandhi and congress in their fight to unite the country, the fight for baba Saheb's dreams." Let us tell you that ashok Tanwar was elected mp from Sirsa seat of haryana in 2009.
