The cm said during a rally in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, "Sensing the possible move of the opposition, the maharashtra government has started making monthly payments under the chief minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana for october and November. Under this scheme, women with an annual family income of less than Rs 2.5 lakh are given Rs 1500 per month as assistance. Sources said that the schemes running in the state are generally not affected by the model code of conduct, but the Shinde government does not want to take any risk.
Eknath Shinde, citing the praise of the Majhi Ladki Behen Yojana by famous singer Asha Bhosle, said that this is a slap on the face of the opposition, because it is spreading fake discussions about the scheme.
