The results of haryana assembly elections are no less than a shock for Congress. Because congress had full hope of forming the government here. Even the results of most exit polls were in favor of congress, but when the ballot boxes were opened, they brought the news of BJP's victory. After the defeat in haryana, on wednesday (October 9), congress lodged its complaint with the election officials in Delhi.
After meeting the election commission, former haryana CM and congress leader Bhupinder Hooda said, "The results of haryana are shocking because everyone felt that congress government was going to be formed in Haryana."
'How did congress lag behind in EVMs, ahead in postal ballots'
Bhupendra Hooda also said, "This was in all the survey reports but what happened was that when the counting of postal ballots started, congress was leading everywhere, but when the counting of EVMs started, congress was lagging behind. We have received many complaints. There was a delay in counting of votes at many places, the election commission has assured us that they will look into all the complaints."
'EVMs hacked'
Apart from this, haryana congress President uday Bhan said, "We feel that EVMs have been hacked. This is our serious concern, the EVMs which have 90 percent votes, mean that bjp has got votes."
What did congress say in its complaint to the election Commission?
Earlier in Delhi, congress General Secretary KC Venugopal, ashok Gehlot, ajay Maken, Jairam Ramesh, Bhupendra Singh Hooda and other party leaders met election commission officials. Here, congress leaders claimed before the election commission that out of the 20 complaints that had come to us, 7 written complaints had machines that were showing 99 percent on the day of voting and other normal machines were showing 60-70 percent.
