The walk started from Civil Lines

He said, "It started from the Mutiny Memorial located in Civil Lines, which was built by the british in memory of the british soldiers killed in the first war of independence, but after the independence of the country, we remember it for those indians who lost their lives in that war."

Under the 100 tourism heritage walks of the delhi Tourism Department, there will be a heritage walk almost every day. During this walk, we will take people to the famous or unknown monuments of Delhi. A tourist guide and historian will accompany them who will tell people about it.

Saurabh Bhardwaj said that today we have come to the Mutiny Memorial located in Civil Lines. It is a symbol of the freedom struggle against the British. A large number of british officers were killed in this war. Earlier, the british used to celebrate it in their memory. But after independence, this memorial was known as Ruple in the memory of those freedom fighters, but we consider it as a memory of our freedom fighters in which they took part.
