The matter is near Lodi Katra police post of Khajekala police station area of Patna. The idol of Maa Durga has been installed a few steps away from the police post. It is said that around 2 pm on Friday, there was a dispute between the youths who went to the gold shopkeeper to ask for donations and the shopkeeper. The dispute escalated so much that the shopkeeper threw the bottle of acid kept in the shop on the youths. Many people were injured in this incident. After this, the local people got angry and started beating the shopkeeper. Also, the scooter parked near the shop was set on fire. The scooty was completely burnt to ashes in no time.
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the fire unit team reached the spot but by then the scooty had been burnt to ashes. police officer Prabhat Ranjan took the gold shopkeeper into custody and the injured youth Aman and Sahil were admitted to the hospital for treatment. At the same time, the aunt of the injured youth Aman and Sahil told that 5 people have been injured due to throwing acid. Khajekala police station chief Prabhat Ranjan of patna said that the information was received at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. After this, the matter was pacified by reaching the spot of the incident.
