vijayadashami festival was celebrated across the country yesterday. The tradition of worshipping arms and weapons on this day is going on since the Ramayana and Mahabharata era. Even today our army follows this tradition. On this occasion, India's Defense minister Rajnath Singh performed arms worship. During this, in his address, he said that if it comes to India's interests, we will not shy away from taking any big step. 'It is a symbol of our vast cultural tradition'

Defense minister Rajnath Singh said, "I wish you all a very happy Vijayadashami. india is the only country where both scriptures and weapons are worshiped. It may seem that what is the justification for worshiping things made of iron and wood? But in reality, it is a symbol of our vast cultural tradition in which we express gratitude towards any object before and after using it."

'It is a victory for humanity'

During this, he said that the victory of Lord Rama on the day of vijayadashami was not only his but it was a victory for humanity. Ravana was a symbol of evil even after being a scholar. Lord Rama had no personal enmity with Ravana. He killed Ravana because it was necessary for humanity.

Will not shy away from taking big steps

The Defence minister said, "We have never waged war against any country. We have waged war when it waged war against human values. If we see our interests being threatened, we will not shy away from taking any big step." He further said, 'Any action by our neighbours cannot be ruled out. Whatever the global situation, we always have to be prepared.'
