RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, while addressing the dussehra program organized in Nagpur, gave a statement on the rape case in Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College. He demanded action on this as soon as possible. The RSS chief also accused the mamata government of bengal of protecting the accused.

The RSS chief said that if someone touched the clothes of a Draupadi, it became Mahabharata. He said, "The RG Kar incident is an incident that tarnishes all of us. We should not let this incident happen, if it happens, everyone has to stay together, but there was an attempt to protect the criminals."
The RSS chief said, "It is the result of the decay of sanskars that in our country, where the belief in the conduct of matrivat paradareshu is accepted, women are facing incidents like rape in many places. The incident that happened in Kolkata's RG Kar Hospital is one of the shameful incidents that has tarnished the entire society."
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, "The entire society has stood with the doctor brothers, but even after such a heinous crime, the despicable efforts made by some people to protect the criminals, all this shows how the alliance of crime, politics and bad culture is spoiling us."
Mentioned the stone pelting during Ganesh festival
RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat also mentioned the incidents of stone pelting during Ganesh festival. He said, "Recently during Ganesh Utsav, there was stone pelting on the immersions. There was no reason why it happened. Such hooliganism should not be allowed to happen. No one should be allowed to do so. The job of the police is to protect, but even before that, it is the duty to help our own people. I am not saying this to scare anyone. We have to be prepared for such a situation."
