The election commission of india has yesterday (October 15) issued a notification for by-elections on four assembly seats in bihar along with assembly elections in maharashtra and Jharkhand. According to the election commission, by-elections will be held on four seats here on november 13. Former deputy chief minister of bihar and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav has given his reaction regarding this. Regarding jharkhand, he said that who will contest on how many seats will be clear in some time.
What did Tejashwi Yadav say on jharkhand elections
Former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav said, "There are by-elections on 4 assembly seats in Bihar. There are elections in maharashtra and jharkhand as well. Our effort will be to win all the elections. We are in the government in jharkhand, we are part of the india Alliance. We want to fight the elections together. Our effort will be to defeat bjp in jharkhand again. Who will contest on how many seats will be clear in some time." Let us tell you that along with the jharkhand assembly elections, by-elections are to be held on Imamganj, Ramgarh, Belagnj, Tarari assembly seats of its neighboring state bihar, for which counting of votes will be done on november 23. RJD is an ally of JMM in jharkhand, so RJD will contest on some seats there too and how many of the four seats in bihar will be contested will also be clear in a few days. As Tejashwi Yadav says. bihar by-elections are also a challenge for RJD
In the bihar assembly by-elections, the Mahagathbandhan also faces the challenge of saving its credibility. The Ramgarh and Belaganj seats were with the RJD till now, while the Tarari seat was held by the CPI(ML) MLA. HAM chief Jitan ram Manjhi was an mla from Imamganj. In such a situation, before the bihar assembly elections 2025, this by-election can bring a big upheaval in the politics of the state. If the new party Jan Suraj performs better then it will be a different matter. This time it will definitely be difficult for Lalu Yadav and Tejashwi Yadav.
