In a recent visit to the Vijaya Dairy office in Nandyal, kurnool district, tdp General Secretary and allagadda MLA bhuma akhila priya raised eyebrows by questioning the presence of former chief minister Y.S. jagan Mohan Reddy’s portrait in the office. During her visit, she demanded an immediate replacement of Jagan’s portrait with that of current chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, emphasizing the need to adhere to proper protocol following the recent change in government.
While at the office, Akhila priya noticed that the chairman of Vijaya Dairy was absent and decided to sit in his chair. This action did not sit well with sv mohan reddy, the chairman, who learned of her actions and called her for an explanation. An argument ensued over her choice to occupy his chair.
Akhila priya firmly responded to mohan reddy, asserting that he had no authority to question her actions. “Who are you to question me?” she said, asserting her position and authority as an MLA. She insisted that if he contacted her as a relative, then her sitting in his chair was not an issue. Conversely, if he reached out to her in his capacity as the chairman of the dairy unit, then he had no right to challenge her actions.
She further requested mohan reddy to file any complaints in writing, questioning the motive behind his phone call. Akhila Priya’s visit and subsequent confrontation highlight the political tensions and the significance of protocol in the new political landscape of the state.
