There is good news for the government employees of Bihar. This time the government has issued an order for salary payment before diwali and Chhath. A letter has been issued by the Finance Department on monday (21 October). The bihar government has given a gift to the employees and pensioners before the festival.

Salary will be paid on october 25

As per the instructions of chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister cum State Finance minister Samrat Chaudhary, the bihar government has issued a special order for all the employees of the state keeping in mind the upcoming diwali and Chhath festival. According to this order, the salary for october 2024 will be paid in advance on october 25, 2024.

Along with this, for the government employees whose retirement or retirement is happening in this month (non-gazetted and gazetted), salary payment will also be ensured by the last working day of the month of october (month salary strike). This decision has been taken under Rule 141 of the bihar Treasury Code, 2011.

All the concerned departments and officers have been instructed to ensure compliance of this order, so that the employees can get the benefit of their salary on time. This step of chief minister Nitish Kumar and deputy chief minister Samrat Chaudhary is a sign of their sensitivity towards the employees of the state and respect for the festivals, so that all the employees can celebrate the festival happily with their families.

About 10 lakh employees will benefit

Let us tell you that diwali is on october 31. Chhath will start with Nahai-Khaai on november 5. Kharna is on the sixth, while the evening Arghya is on november 7 and the morning Arghya is on the eighth. In such a situation, this is good news for government employees before Diwali-Chhath. It is being told that about 10 lakh employees will benefit from the advance salary.
