Where on Tuesday, a few steps away from Bhatipura police station, a bully fearless of the police attacked a young man with an iron rod in broad daylight. The young man injured in this attack died today during treatment.

The only fault of the deceased youth was that he had opposed the bully for molesting his sister. It is being told that the death of Shamsuddin's 25-year-old son Firoz, who lives in Mohalla Bhatipura, has shocked the entire family. The incident happened last Tuesday, when Firoz was going to bring his niece and nephew from school. During this time, the bully Naeem attacked Firoz with an iron rod on the way. Seriously injured Firoz was admitted to the district hospital, where he was referred to a higher center when his condition deteriorated. Firoz died today during treatment.

The deceased's brother Aslam says that the accused Naeem used to make obscene comments on his sister, regarding which Firoz and Aslam had explained to him many times. Even a complaint was made to Naeem's father, but it had no effect. Naeem's father drives the SDM's vehicle. Naeem, angry with the complaint to his father, developed a grudge. Aslam told that Naeem had threatened Firoz earlier as well. According to the family, due to the safety of his sister, Firoz himself started bringing and taking the children to school.
