Reportedly this time the maharashtra assembly elections have become important for many reasons. For the first time after the split in shiv sena and NCP, elections are being held in the state. In such a situation, a tough fight will be seen between Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi. All political parties are fielding their candidates. In this episode, maharashtra navnirman sena (MNS) is contesting the elections on its own.
Perhaps in this election, MNS chief raj Thackeray has also fielded his son amit Thackeray. Now it will be interesting to see whether uddhav thackeray will field a candidate against his nephew or not. Because before amit thackeray, former chief minister uddhav Thackeray's son and current mla aditya thackeray contested the elections for the first time in 2019. At that time aditya thackeray won with a huge majority. aditya thackeray was the first person from the thackeray family to contest elections. When aditya thackeray contested from Worli seat in 2019, at that time uncle raj Thackeray did not field any candidate from Worli. Now uddhav Thackeray's nephew amit thackeray has entered the electoral fray. The list of assembly candidates has not been released by the uddhav thackeray faction yet. In such a situation, everyone's attention is on whether uddhav thackeray will field a candidate from Mahim constituency or not.
Moreover according to ABP Majha, Mahim assembly constituency has been the stronghold of uddhav Thackeray. But now after the announcement of amit Thackeray's candidature, discussions have started in political circles that thackeray will not field any of his candidates from Mahim. It is also being said that two names are being considered for the candidature of shiv sena thackeray group for the Dadar-Mahim seat. A meeting will be held with the major officials of Mahim assembly in the presence of uddhav thackeray at Matoshree. After which a decision will be taken regarding the Mahim seat.
