Reportedly the Anti-Terrorism Branch raided the Karegaon area near Ranjangaon MIDC area in pune district on the basis of secret information. During this, 15 men, four women and two transgenders were arrested. These people had got fake PAN cards, Aadhaar cards and fake voter IDs made. According to pune Rural SP Pankaj Deshmukh, a case has been registered against the accused at Ranjangaon MIDC police station. After the arrest, the accused were produced in court today (Wednesday). The court has sent ten such accused to custody. Some of them were living here for six months and some for 10 years.

Earlier in the month of September, eight Bangladeshi women living illegally in thane district were also arrested.
