In the by-election to Khair assembly seat of Aligarh, bharatiya janata party has fielded Surendra Diler, son of former bjp mp from hathras, Rajveer Singh Diler. Surendra's grandfather Kishan Lal Diler has also had a long journey in UP politics. Surendra filled his nomination papers in the assembly constituency on Friday. Surendra Diler's father won the hathras Lok Sabha seat from bjp in 2019. But in the 2024 elections, bjp gave tickets to more former MPs but cut his ticket. He was so shocked by this that Rajveer Diler died of a heart attack. If politicians are to be believed, since then bjp had claimed to give a new identity in politics by bringing his son forward. Seeing the public love that the Diler family has been receiving continuously for the last several years, bjp has given a chance to the third generation of this family.
