Reportedly the activities of ticket claimants in bjp regarding kedarnath by-election have heated up the political atmosphere. A facebook post by aishwarya Rawat, daughter of late mla Shaila rani Rawat, has created a stir within the party. In this post, Aishwarya's claim for ticket from kedarnath assembly seat was indicated, which the party leadership has taken seriously. On this, State General Secretary Organization ajay Kumar questioned Aishwarya. aishwarya clarified that this post was made by hacking her facebook account and she has also lodged a complaint with the police in this regard. According to sources, the party is not completely satisfied with Aishwarya's answer and her activities are being monitored.
Perhaps given the sensitivity of the by-election, the party is currently in a wait and watch situation. The party leadership has not taken any final decision yet and plans are being made to take the next step only after the ticket is announced. It is believed that the central leadership can announce the candidate by this evening, after which the electoral equations will become more clear. On the other hand, the statements on social media by kuldeep Singh Rawat, who is another major contender for the ticket, have also made the bjp uncomfortable. Both kuldeep and aishwarya are contacting the top leaders of the state to strengthen their claim. It is being discussed that if they do not get the ticket, then they have also kept other options open. This has created a state of confusion within the bjp, although the party leadership is not saying anything openly on this.
Moreover on this entire development, bjp state president Mahendra Bhatt said that whoever the candidate is, BJP's victory in kedarnath is certain. He said that the central leadership has a panel of all the possible names and all the contenders are capable of registering a good victory on this seat. The real objective of the party is to win with record votes and after discussing all aspects, the authorized candidate will be announced soon.
