Currently amidst the political stir in maharashtra regarding the assembly elections, the final decision on some seats has still not been taken among the constituents of the Mahayuti. Meanwhile, maharashtra Deputy chief minister and ncp chief ajit pawar has made a big claim on thursday (25 October) regarding the seats. He said that in the Mahayuti, out of the 288 assembly seats in the state, only 11 seats are yet to be decided. ncp chief ajit pawar said, "Yesterday we spent the whole day in discussion in delhi and even today our senior leaders are discussing it. Out of 288 seats, only 11 seats are yet to be decided. We are trying to take a better decision through this discussion."
Perhaps maharashtra Deputy cm and ncp chief have also appealed to the media not to write anything in haste. He said, "Our discussions are still going on, I would like to request the media not to write anything without confirmation. We are moving ahead in a phased manner. Do not jump to the conclusion that someone has been given a ticket and someone has been ignored until we say something."
Moreover ajit pawar led ncp on friday (October 25) released its second list of candidates for the upcoming assembly elections in Maharashtra. The list also includes the names of mla Zeeshan Siddiqui and two former bjp MPs. Siddiqui will contest from Bandra East, from where he won on a congress ticket in 2019. Zeeshan was given the ticket after joining the NCP. Zeeshan Siddiqui's father and ncp leader baba Siddiqui was shot dead on october 12. Earlier, the ncp had released the first list of 38 candidates. ajit pawar himself is going to contest from Baramati seat.
