What did the railways say about the incident?
An official statement has been issued by the Western Railway. In which it is said that on october 27, at around 2:45 pm, passenger train number 22921 Antyodaya Express was slowly being placed from BDTS yard to platform number-1, when some passengers present on the platform tried to board the moving train.
During this, 2 passengers fell and got injured. RPF, GRP, home Guard deployed on duty took immediate action and admitted the passengers to the nearby government Bhabha Hospital. According to the doctors, the condition of all the injured passengers is normal now. The railway has appealed to the passengers not to board or disembark in a moving train, it is dangerous. Let us tell you that in view of diwali and Chhath festival, more than 130 festival special trains are being run for the convenience of the passengers to reach their destinations in various parts of the country, especially UP and Bihar. In this, 87 trains are running from mumbai alone to different stations across the country.
