In the maharashtra assembly elections, Asaduddin Owaisi's party AIMIM has fielded Imtiaz jaleel from aurangabad East seat and Naser siddique from aurangabad Central. The candidates for the seats in mumbai on which AIMIM will contest will be announced today (27 October). The last date for filing nominations in maharashtra is 29 October. Imtiaz jaleel is also a former mla and former mp of AIMIM. He won the 2019 Lok Sabha elections from aurangabad and was an mla between 2014 and 2019. He has come into politics from journalism. Naser has contested elections before but has not been elected to the assembly.

AIMIM candidates will face competition from these

AIMIM candidates will face competition from the candidates of Mahayuti and Mahavikas Aghadi. In Mahayuti, shiv sena has got aurangabad Central seat from where Pradeep jaiswal has been fielded while aurangabad East seat has been given to bjp from where Atul Save is the candidate. Kishanchand Tanwan of shiv sena UBT is the candidate from aurangabad Central and madhukar Deshmukh of congress is the candidate from aurangabad East.

History of aurangabad Central seat

In 2009, Pradeep jaiswal won the election as an independent candidate on the seat present under aurangabad Lok Sabha constituency, who is the shiv sena candidate this time. In 2014, this seat was won by AIMIM. In 2019, Pradeep jaiswal won again. He defeated AIMIM's Naseer Siddiqui, on whom AIMIM has placed its bet again this time.

Imtiaz Jaleel's path will not be easy in aurangabad East

Talking about aurangabad East seat, BJP's Atul Save won the election here in 2014 and 2019. congress got success from here in 2004 and 2009 but in all the elections held between 1985 to 1999, BJP's candidate got success. Voting is to be held on november 20 on all 288 seats of Maharashtra.
