Reportedly police has taken strict action regarding stone pelting and clashes in the rally called by Hindu organizations regarding mosque dispute in Uttarkashi. Uttarkashi police has registered a case against 8 named and 200 unknown people in this case. The names of all these have also come to light. Cases have been registered against all of them under serious sections. In connection with the clash in Uttarkashi, the police has imposed section 109 of BNS for murderous attack and section 121 (2) for hurting a government employee against Jitendra Chauhan, Sonu Negi, Suraj Dabral, Kulbir Rana, Sushil Sharma, gautam Rawat, Alok Rawat and Satendra Parmar. 14 sections of the indian Penal Code have been imposed on the miscreants. Apart from these, a case has been registered against two hundred unknown people.
