Just before the assembly elections in maharashtra, congress has suffered a major setback. Former minister and congress leader Anees ahmed joined the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi (VBA) in mumbai on monday (28 October). He will contest from nagpur Central assembly seat. Prakash Ambedkar is the head of Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi right now. According to a PTI report, Anees ahmed was inducted into the VBA in the presence of party chief Prakash Ambedkar. The Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi announced his candidature from the nagpur Central constituency in the assembly elections.

Anees ahmed accuses congress of selling tickets

Anees ahmed attacked the congress fiercely after joining Prakash Ambedkar's party. He also accused the congress of selling tickets. Former maharashtra minister ahmed said, "I represented the nagpur Central assembly seat for 15 years. I saw that the congress sold some tickets in the Vidarbha region where communities like Muslims, Teli and Dalits had almost no representation.

Why did Anees ahmed leave Congress?

After joining the Vanchit Bahujan Aghadi, Anees ahmed also explained the reason behind leaving the Congress. He said, "I decided to leave the congress because it failed to do social engineering. In the Vidarbha region, the congress has mostly given tickets to Kunbis and ignored other communities." Prakash Ambedkar's party VBA could not coordinate with the maha Vikas Aghadi for the assembly elections in maharashtra, after which it is announcing its candidates alone. Recently Prakash Ambedkar had surrounded both the congress and the BJP. He had said in a social media post that if I raise my voice for Dalits, tribals, OBCs, Muslims and the oppressed and against the Hindu nation, then the bjp people abuse me.
