For the second consecutive day, hotels in lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, have received bomb threats. About half a dozen hotels have received bomb threats for the second day. As soon as the information was received, the police became fully alert and security arrangements have been tightened. Investigation is being done outside the hotels.
Taj Hotel Sivat in Hazratganj police station area has received a bomb threat. After the threat, the police along with the bomb squad reached to investigate. Suspicious objects are being investigated in the hotels. Gomti nagar police and the bomb squad are present there. Investigation is also going on in Taj Hotel and Renaissance Hotel. It is said that this threat has been received through e-mail. However, before this, on Saturday, several hotels in gujarat received bomb threats. After this, on Sunday, several hotels in lucknow received bomb threats. The hotels were threatened to be bombed through mail. Many hotels including Hotel Fortune, Lemon Tree, Hotel Marriot located on Rana Pratap Marg in lucknow received threats.
Such incidents have been happening since April
After receiving the threat, the hotel operators immediately informed the police about it. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started a large-scale investigation. The sender of the mail is also being investigated. In India, many schools, colleges, hotels and airports have received bomb threat emails and calls from april to october this year.
These threats were given in many cities including Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, mumbai and Jaipur. The police administration and security agencies are on alert at the local level regarding this. Most of the threats have been given through social media platforms. Now the central government is going to take the help of social media agencies like Meta and X to investigate the cases.
