maharashtra bjp released the fourth list for the assembly elections 2024 on tuesday (October 29). This list includes the names of two candidates. The state bjp has given ticket to narendra Lalchandji Mehta from Mira Bhayander seat. While Sudhir Laxmanrao Parve has been made the candidate from Umred assembly seat. A day earlier, the sitting mla Geeta Jain had filed nomination with the bjp flag. bjp National General Secretary and Headquarters In-charge Arun Singh said that the Central election Committee has given its consent to the names of both the candidates.

Who is Lalchandji Mehta?

narendra Lalchandji Mehta is currently a member of the bjp and represents the Mira Bhayander constituency in the Legislative Assembly. He has played an important role in materializing the construction of Dahisar to Mira Bhayander Metro. narendra Mehta always remains in controversies regarding harassment, rape, corruption and many other illegal issues. At the same time, Sudhir Laxmanrao Parve, who has been made the candidate from Umred, is currently an MLA. He represents the Umred assembly constituency. He has also been the chairman of the panchayati Raj Committee from 2017 to 2019. In april 2015, Parve was sentenced to two years in jail for slapping a primary school teacher.

Last date for nomination yesterday

Actually, yesterday (October 29) was the last date for filing nominations for the maharashtra assembly elections 2024. The parties included in the maha Vikas Aghadi and Mahayuti have not yet been able to announce candidates for 288 seats. The Mahayuti includes bjp, Eknath Shinde-led shiv sena and Ajit Pawar's faction's NCP, besides some smaller political parties. The maha Vikas Aghadi includes Congress, uddhav thackeray faction's shiv sena and sharad pawar faction's NCP, apart from other smaller parties.
