The court hearing the Malegaon bomb blast case has received a threat. This threat has been received by Mumbai's special NIA court and its judge. An official said that the caller threatened to kill the judge hearing the case. Let us tell you that this call came to the Registrar's office of the Sessions court during diwali holidays, after which the Colaba police is investigating the case. NIA is also investigating this case. However, it is not yet known who has given the threat. On 29 september 2008, a bomb kept in a motorcycle exploded in Malegaon. Six people were killed and 100 people were injured in this incident. It has been 16 years since this incident but till now this case has not been solved.
So far several rounds of hearing have been held in this case. In October, Pragya Thakur, the accused in the case, had claimed that the banned organization SIMI might be involved in this. During the hearing, Pragya Thakur's lawyer had told the court that after the blast, the local people stopped the police from going to the spot. It is possible that they were trying to protect the SIMI members. The lawyer had said that whenever such an incident happens, the local people help the police, but in this case, the police was pelted with stones by the local people.
The prosecution is making this demand
On the other hand, recently, the lawyers Sharif Sheikh and shahid Nadeem, who appeared on behalf of the families of the people killed in the blast, had presented a written argument before the NIA court and said that the prosecution has proved the case without any doubt. In such a situation, the accused should be given maximum punishment.
