Even though the date of voting for the by-election to be held on 9 seats of Uttar Pradesh has been extended, the Samajwadi party is leaving no stone unturned in election preparations. SP's national secretary and party in-charge for the by-election, Shivpal Singh Yadav, is continuously holding rallies and meetings.

In this sequence, SP's national secretary Shivpal Singh Yadav reached Katehri assembly seat of Ambedkar nagar district on wednesday (November 6). During this, he expressed the fear of rigging in the by-election to be held in Katehri seat. In his address, Shivpal Yadav targeted the state government fiercely while appealing to make SP candidate Shobhavati Verma win.

'SP workers should gather at Katehari border'

While addressing the election meeting in Katehari, the former cabinet minister told the SP workers, "On the day of election on november 20, everyone has to gather at the border of Katehari. He said, "I instruct that on the day of election, all the workers around the district will remain at the border and if there is any rigging in the election, then those people can enter Katehari."

'One foot in the train and one foot in the jail'

Samajwadi Party's national secretary Shivpal Yadav further said in his address, "If there is a fair election in Katehari, then there is no need to come inside." He said, "When there is dishonesty, we will fight strongly. It has been the history of socialists that wherever there is oppression, injustice and dishonesty, it will be strongly opposed." Shivpal Yadav said that the slogan of socialists has been one foot in the train and one foot in jail. He said that we will fight in the elections, we are not afraid of going to jail.

The reputation of bigwigs is at stake in Katehari

Let us tell you, by-elections on 9 assembly seats of the state have now been done on 20 november instead of 13 November. The results will be declared on 23 November. SP has fielded Shobhavati Verma on Katehari seat, she will face tough competition from BJP's Dharmaraj Nishad and BSP's amit Verma.
