The formal arrival of saints and mahatmas for the maha Kumbh starting from january 13 in Sangam city Prayagraj has started from Sunday, november 3. At the same time, in the first week of october 2024, the All india Akhara Parishad had decided that entry into Kumbh should be done with aadhar card so that no non-Sanatani can enter the fair area. After this decision of the Akhara, statements of leaders of political parties are continuously coming out.
State government minister and National President of Subhaspa Om Prakash Rajbhar has given a big statement regarding the maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj. Regarding the ban on the entry of non-Hindus in Kumbh by the saints, he said that no one can be denied from coming to Kumbh. What the saints have said is their own opinion. Om Prakash Rajbhar made a big allegation on SP and said that when the theft was happening, those people were there, they were the ones who were getting the theft done and were counting the money.
Mahant ravindra Puri had given a statement
Mahant ravindra Puri, the president of a faction of akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad, the largest organization of saints, had given a big statement about Prayagraj maha Kumbh. Other saints and sages welcomed this statement of Mahant ravindra Puri. Mahant ravindra Puri had said in Haridwar that the faith of the devotees coming to maha Kumbh should not be tampered with, their faith should not be affected, so only Hindus should be allowed to run food shops in the fair of faith. He said that non-Sanatanists should be banned from running food shops.
SP and Jamiat had expressed opposition
The controversy started after this statement of Mahant ravindra Puri. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind and Samajwadi party MP Ziaur rahman Barq had called this demand discriminatory on communal basis. The saints present in Prayagraj say that this statement of Akhada Parishad President Mahant ravindra Puri is absolutely correct and there is nothing wrong in it. All the saints and mahatmas are in support of this statement and welcome such initiatives.
