In Shivdi assembly constituency of Mumbai, MNS candidate has the support of bjp, on the other hand, BJP's candidate from Hingna has the support of MNS. MNS's bala Nandgaonkar is contesting from Shivdi assembly constituency, while bjp has given ticket to outgoing mla sameer Meghe on Hingna assembly seat. In Shivdi, Mahayuti did not field a candidate, while in Hingna assembly seat, MNS has given support to bjp by fielding a candidate. MNS has given ticket to Bijaram Kinkar in Hingna. Mahavikas Aghadi has fielded NCP-SP's Ramesh Bang from Hingna. In Shivdi, MNS has given ticket to bala Nandgaonkar who is pitted against Shiv Sena-UBT's ajay Chaudhary.
Meanwhile Shivdi has been the seat of MNS and sometimes of Shiv Sena. The last two elections from Shivdi have been won by ajay Chaudhary from undivided Shiv Sena, who is currently a candidate from the uddhav faction. The Shivdi seat came to MNS in 2009 when bala Nanggaonkar won the election. In 2014, MNS gave ticket to bala but due to his defeat, MNS changed the candidate in 2019 but in that election, Santosh Nalawade of MNS was defeated by ajay Chaudhary of Shiv Sena.
Moreover Hingna is a bjp seat. From where sameer Meghe has been winning for the last two elections. Vijay Ghodmare of bjp won the 2009 election. In 2014 also, sameer Meghe defeated Rameshchandra Bang of ncp, to whom sharad pawar has given ticket again. Vijay Ghodmare changed sides and joined NCP. He also contested the 2019 election from the undivided ncp but was defeated by sameer Meghe.
